This design offers a heat transfer coefficient that is twice as efficient as regular smooth bore tubes. The improved efficiency of such heat exchangers can lead to smaller sizes and reduced refrigerant loads. The use of various groove depths and geometries can be adjusted according to the specific refrigerant type and local requirements.
Our specialists highly recommend a zinc coating for heat exchanger tubes operating under harsh conditions as it ensures improved resistance to corrosion and an extended lifespan. This coating can be applied to both straight inner grooved tubes and smooth bore tubes.
