The adopted heat pump system involves a gas-liquid separator for a carbon dioxide heat pump system. The gas-liquid separator for carbon dioxide heat pump system includes a cylinder body with an air inlet and an air outlet. The air inlet is provided with an air inlet pipe, and the air outlet is connected with an oil return pipe. The oil return pipe is in a "U" shape. One end of the oil return pipe is communicated with the air outlet, the other end of the oil return pipe is suspended in the air and staggered from the axis of the intake pipe, and at least one oil return hole is radially arranged at the turn of the oil return pipe.
