Product Performance

Usage Method

1. let the baby lie on the back, clean the blood collecting parts with sterilized cotton sheet, and wait for the natural air drying, and do not touch the sterilized parts.
2. remove the outer package of the blood collector, and do not place the blood collector in the place without disinfection. Remove the safety buckle of the blood collector, do not push the launch button, nor touch the blade.
3. lift the baby's foot to a position higher than its heart, select the safe blood collection position according to the "schematic diagram of the blood collection part of infants", and align the blood collection port of the blood collector vertically to the blood collection part.
4. when the flat end of the blood collection port is in contact with the skin, press the launch button to collect blood, and quickly move the blood collector away from the blood collection part.
5. wipe off the first drop of blood with dry sterilized gauze.
6.1 press gently, collect appropriate blood samples with blood sample collection tube, and use dry sterilized gauze to stop bleeding by pressing the incision to prevent hematoma.
6.2 properly light pressure, directly drop the blood onto the blood carrying card for sampling, and collect at least 3 blood spots continuously. After the blood collection, use dry disinfection gauze to press the incision to stop bleeding to prevent hematoma.

Contraindication

1. Unless absolutely necessary, do not use it for infants with fever.
2. Don't take blood samples at the same place repeatedly.
3. Do not use for infants with swelling, infection or inflammation of puncture site.
4. Do not use for infants with skin disease or skin damage at puncture site.
5. Avoid selecting the skin that has been sampled and within 2mm near the sampling point as the blood sampling location.

Matters Needing Attention

1. If the safety buckle of the blood sampler is lost or broken, do not use it.
2. The blood sampler is disposable, please replace it with a new one every time.
3. The safe area for infants to take blood samples is between a line parallel to the side of the foot drawn from the middle of the fourth and fifth toes and a line parallel to the side of the foot drawn from the big toe.
4. The disinfection diameter should be more than 2cm when disinfecting the blood sampling site.
5. Hypoplastic blood vessels may lead to insufficient blood flow.
6. If it is necessary to preheat the heel, 42 ℃ - 44 ℃ is helpful to promote blood flow, but over 44 ℃ will cause burns.
7. The blood collection device should be close to the blood collection part and enter the needle vertically, but it should not be too hard to cause deep and harmful wound depth.
8. Keep alert when using the blood sampler to avoid hurting yourself and others.
9. Pay attention to the place where blood is taken after blood collection to prevent re bleeding or inflammation.
10. The blood sampler is sterilized by irradiation, and the validity period is 3 years. It is strictly forbidden to use beyond the validity period.
11. The blood sampler after use may be infectious and cannot be discarded at will to prevent pollution and injury

Keep In Storage

It should be stored in a environment with relative humidity not exceeding 80%, temperature no more than 45 ℃, no corrosive gas, cool, dry, well ventilated and clean.
