Description
ormal fiber optical cable PE sheath station is easily struck by Squirrels, mice and other small animals as it is generally installed in open field and
the PE sheath is fragile.
In such cases, we recommend the installation of cable with twisted steel wire.
The fibers, 250μm, are positioned in a loose tube made of a high modulus plastic. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. 12
steel wire, sometimes sheathed with polyethylene (PE) for cable with high fiber count are stranded around the PBT member and circular cable
core. The PSP is longitudinally applied over the cable core, witch is filled with the filling compound to protect it from water ingress. Then, the cable
is completed with a PE sheath.
