OPGW is an outdoor optical fiber cable suitable for pipeline and overhead applications. We provide 2-core to 12 core OPGW optical cables. Both single-mode and multimode types are available.
Application
260 um of fiber is placed in a loose tube made of high modulus plastic. The pipe is filled with waterproof filling compound, and the pipe is longitudinally wound with a layer of corrugated steel strip. Water blocking material is used between corrugated steel strip and loose sleeve to keep the cable tight and waterproof. Two parallel steel wires are placed on both sides of the steel strip. PE sheath shall be adopted for cables.
Feature
1. Appropriate design for low dispersion and attenuation;
2. Precisely control the excess length of optical fiber and unique stranding process, so that the optical cable has excellent mechanical performance and environmental performance;
3. Corrugated steel tape armoring makes the optical cable have good moisture-proof and compression resistance;
4. Operating temperature of optical cable: -40~+60 ℃
