The sensor works by transmitting an infrared beam. When an object obstructs this beam within the detection zone, it changes the signal received by the receiver. IV. Installation Guidelines
- Open the front panel of the IR - 20M.
- Insert the cables into their respective housings and secure the base to the wall using the appropriate mounting method.
- Connect the power supply within the specified voltage range.
- Verify the red LED status on the receiver; it should be off with correct positioning. Interrupting the beam should activate the LED.
- Cover the sensor with the front panel and fix it in place.
- Test the relay response by repeatedly interrupting the beam.
