More information of Brushless DC Motor
Brushless DC motor usually the rotor magnetic pole adopts tile magnet, after the magnetic circuit design, the air gap magnetic density of the trapezoidal wave can be obtained, and the stator winding mostly adopts a concentrated integer winding, so the induced back EMF is also trapezoidal wave. The control of brushless DC motor requires position information feedback, and there must be a position sensor or adopt positionless sensor estimation technology to form an automatic speed regulation system. When controlling, the current of each phase is also controlled into a square wave as much as possible, and the inverter output voltage can be controlled according to the method of PWM of the brushed DC motor. In essence, brushless DC motor is also a permanent magnet synchronous motor, and speed regulation actually belongs to the category of variable voltage and variable frequency speed regulation. The difference between the two can be considered as the difference in design concepts caused by square wave and sine wave control.
