Description:
The IS200RCSAG1A is a component for the Mark VI system. The Mark VI is designed around the central Control Module, which takes care of the majority of procedures and processes like protection, monitoring, and control of the system. This Control Module connects to a non-essential HMI (human machine interface) that allows users to then access system data from one location.
The IS200RCSAG1A is a 1800/1000 Frame RC Snubber Board. This circuit board is used in 1800/1000 Innovation Series non-regenerative sources to provide snubber circuitry for the SCR/diode module. These boards have no fuses, LEDs, TP test points, or adjustable hardware. The board is designed to mount directly to the diode module/SCR for each phase.
IS200RCSAG1A is a Frame RC Snubber Board manufactured and designed by General Electric as part of the EX2100 Series used in the GE Excitation Control System. For SCR/diode modules in 1800 or 1000 Innovation SeriesTM non-regenerative sources, the IS200RCSA Frame RC Snubber Board (RCSA) provides the snubber circuitry. In each non-regenerative source, there are three RCSA boards, one for each phase, and they are installed right on the power devices. Outside of the bridge cabinet, a different ac line filter is placed. The RCSA board guards against voltage overshoots from one device to another during commutation, shielding the SCR/diode modules. Additionally, the board isolates disruptive noise from the gate drive circuit.
The IS200RCSBG1BAA is a 620 Frame RC Snubber Card. It protects diodes and SCRs from overvoltage issues by providing capacitors for snubber circuitry. One IS200RCSBG1BAA is required for each bridge. The IS200RAPAG1B is a PCB board assembly designed to be part of the Mark VI system. This system is one of several systems in the Speedtronic series of steam/gas turbine management family developed and released by General Electric from the late 1960s to the 2000s. The Mark VI includes an operator interface designed using a PC with a Microsoft Windows operating system supporting GE CIMPLICITY graphics and the GE Control Systems Toolbox.
