In recent years, with the rapid development of China's economy and the construction of smart cities, the development and utilization of urban underground space has reached an unprecedented scale. The construction of urban subway drives the large-scale development of underground space, high-rise buildings promote the 3D development of underground space, and the demand of comprehensive disaster reduction drives the construction of underground space. In order to strengthen the development, utilization and management of underground space, the state and local governments have successively formulated management measures, bringing the development, utilization and management of underground space into the legal track. The competent department has also formulated special technical specifications for underground space mapping, so as to provide a certain technical basis for obtaining the 2D and 3D data of underground space. However, at present, the main underground space mapping technology methods include: connection measurement by control point introduction, digital mapping for spatial 3D information acquisition and so on. These traditional measurement methods have low efficiency and poor overall accuracy. In the case of lack of GNSS signals and difficulty in positioning, the emergence of SLAM laser scanning technology solves the problem of integrated 3D spatial survey and mapping of aboveground and underground space.
