Electronic ballast is a power component. The heat happens during the lamp being

operating, that phenomenon is normal. The electronic ballasts with metal enclosure can be

operated when the highest temperature pot (1c) is below 70 C ; with plastics enclosure can be

operated when the highest temperature pot (1c) is below 60 C . The lower temperature of

ballasts enclosure, the longer life of ballast

When the electronic ballasts to be used centralized, the ventilation and cooling system is

necessary to be avoid ballasts burnt down due to high operating temperature.

UV lighting may hurt human's eyes, and skin, therefore person must avoid UV lamp directly

illuminate the eyes and skin. Most of ballasts with UV lamp operating status indicator: Green

LED is lit means UV lamp operating normally. Red LED is lit means UV lamp powered off or be

fault When testing 4-6VDC output means UV lamp operating normally, 0-2VDC output means

UV lamp powered off or be fault. The buzzer alarming means UV lamp being fault The on/off

value (dry contact) is also to be used as UV lamp's operating status indicator. Below chart is the

Note for ordering

・ Input power cord should be changed into different national

standardized power cord. Such as GB, BIS, CE, SAA, etc.

Different power cord has different ordering number (must

check it carefully before ordering). Output line can also be

changed into 4*0.5 mm2,4*18#,5*18#, etc. Output line can

add waterproof connector, dust cover, hole plugs, detailed

information see the accessories list.

The power supply must be cut off before installing and

replacing the ballast.The connecting line between ballast

and lamp tube shall not exceed 5m
